IP Email Delivery

SpyAnywhere has the unique ability to allow you to have the remote PC's IP address emailed to you every time it updates. This allows you to constantly stay in contact with the remote PC. All you need to do is enter your email address into the IP Delivery settings.

Setting it up
Send Mail To: This is where the IP notification emails are delivered to. Most likely your own personal email address.
Subject: This is the email subject of the IP notification emails.
Send Every X Minutes: This determines how often SpyAnywhere checks to see if the IP address has changed, and sends a notification email if it has.

Frequent Questions
Here are some common questions users have about the IP email delivery process:

Q: Does SpyAnywhere use my email program to send the IP?
A: No - SpyAnywhere uses its own built in emailer - all emails are sent invisibly.

Q: Can I test the email delivery without having to wait every few minutes for SpyAnywhere to
automatically send?
A: Yes! Simply click "Test Delivery" in the IP Delivery setup screen.

Q: The test delivery states it cannot connect to the SMTP host - what's wrong?
A: Please ensure your firewall software (often included with your antivirus) is not blocking SpyAnywhere from accessing the internet.
