Application Filtering

Keystroke Spy can be configured to only log keystrokes typed in certain applications that you specify - such as your web-browser, word processor, or various chat clients. All other keystrokes are ignored.

Setting it up
To configure Keystroke Spy's Application Filtering click on Program Options->Configure General Settings then goto the 'Application Filtering' tab.

Click 'Add Program' to add various programs to the list of applications that you want logged. An example program input would be 'notepad.exe' to log all keystrokes in the Notepad program that comes with Windows.

Click 'Add Window' to add a window title to the list of applications. For example, to log all keystrokes typed in any application that has a window title containing the text 'Instant Message' add 'Instant Message' to the list. This would log any instant messaging program that has the text 'Instant Message' in its window titles.

Any keystrokes made in applications NOT entered in the list will not be logged.
