3. Why are no new activities being shown in the real-time viewer?

First, you want to make sure you have set the viewer to refresh automatically. To do this just select a refresh rate then click the 'Start Real-time Updates' button. If you are still not receiving any new information then there simply isn't anything new to show you. When the viewer is refreshing, each time the counter reaches 0 it will check for new information and display any that it finds.

4. I downloaded 'x' log, but the resulting file is in .csv format - what is this?

.CSV files are also known as 'comma separated value' files. This is a standard format used in virtually all database/spreadsheet software. You can import this file into any software that supports it.

5. I used the create archive feature, but it is downloading a .zip file - what is this?

This is a compressed file. All versions of Windows support this file and you can simply 'extract' the files within it. You can also use third party software such as www.winzip.com to accomplish the same.

6. My scanner is reporting a virus from the SentryPC install module.

Don't be alarmed - SentryPC is certainly not harmful to your PC. What is happening is your scanner is mis-reporting danger due to the monitoring, filtering, and restricting nature of the program. The problem is if your scanner tampers with SentryPC's files then it will not function properly. You need to exclude SentryPC's files from your scanner(s) - Click Here for instructions.
